This boxfresh mix is one of our favourites so far in the We Love…Space competition, and testament to the same. It features Adeline’s spanking new track Would You and a bunch of other summery bits of percussive, vocal, techy house from acts like Ost & Kjex and Marek Hemann & Fabian Reichelt. Nice one.
Bern-based, hard-partying duo Round Table Knights occupy the land somewhere between disco happiness, tech house and raving hands-in-the-air club music. On May 7th, the play Fabric London and to hype up the occassion, they Bern boys put together this pumping promo mix shock full of popped-up disco rhythms.
We’re fond of saying that ”so and so needs no introduction…” here on the blog. And, hey, not that we want to look like repetetive old farts but Michael Mayer definitely needs no introduction. As the founder of Kompakt and one of Germany’s most acclaimed techno and tech house producers, he’s one of the seminal figures on the noughties European techno scene.
On May 1st, he joins Craig Richards, Terry Francis, Sasha, Carl Craig and a bunch of other techno and house luminaries at Fabric London for the 30 hour, non-stop On & On & On & On & On party. This thundering promo mix gives you a taste of what to come.
If you tuned in during the Next Generation DJ competition, you’re probably familiar with Jeremy G already. A Frenchman based in Tel Aviv, he came in second in the competition with a great mix spanning the whole electronic music spectrum from house to techno. According to the NGDJ jury, Mr G “displays all the skills necessary for a world class DJ in 2010″.
Judging from this mix, recorded live in 2007 at Tel Aviv’s The Breakfast Club and featuring tracks from Oliver Huntemann, DJ T, Junior Boys and Ellen Allien, Jeremy G knew how make people go wild three years ago too. It must be something in those very blue eyes?
Ewan Pearson, noted producer/remixer and regular DJ at club institutions around the world, just released a mix CD for Kompakt. We are proud of our choices, as the album is called, is already tipped by Resident Advisor as an “early contender of mix of the year.”
We could only agree.
To promote the album, Ewan Pearson put together a promo mix, featuring deep tech house and techno from producers like Losoul and Adam Beyer. Listen below, courtesy of our friends at R.fm. To read an interview with Ewan Pearson on his Kompakt mix CD, head on over to Resident Advisor.
