What’s up world, Miami WMC 2010 is on! After a slight delay in trans-Atlantic communications, here is NGDJ winners Maya Vanya’s report from their first ever day in Miami, including DJ Mag and Ultra parties, tropical tech house craziness and friends in the ever-present swimming pool.

Just landed, all beat up but ready to rock after the flight. DJ Craze and our friend Jillionaire were on the same flight as us from LAX.

The NGDJ finals are heating up! All finalist mixes are now online, check them out here and have your say by rating and leaving comments on the mixes. A few of the DJ:s qualified for the finals didn’t meet the deadline, which enabled us to give out wildcards to their runner-ups in the qualification round. In the end, 98 DJ:s are entering the NGDJ finals.

The jury has already started looking over the mixes, a process that will continue over the weekend. Stay tuned, only a week to go until the first ever NGDJ is finally revealed.

Since yesterday, six more DJ:s have submitted their mixes to the NGDJ finals. Mentalcut, DJ House D, Scally Dandan, Gabriel Diggs, Melodrastik and Cristian Ketelaars.

Turns out that of these six, both Mentalcut and Cristian Ketelaars are from Poznan. Must be something in the Polish water, eh?
