Taking control of Room 3 at Fabric in London tonight is Foamo, one of our favourite artists and DJs to break out this year with his absolutely massive remix of Breakage’s “Fighting Fire”. Hear the track in his awesome promo mix here!
We’re fond of saying that ”so and so needs no introduction…” here on the blog. And, hey, not that we want to look like repetetive old farts but Michael Mayer definitely needs no introduction. As the founder of Kompakt and one of Germany’s most acclaimed techno and tech house producers, he’s one of the seminal figures on the noughties European techno scene.
On May 1st, he joins Craig Richards, Terry Francis, Sasha, Carl Craig and a bunch of other techno and house luminaries at Fabric London for the 30 hour, non-stop On & On & On & On & On party. This thundering promo mix gives you a taste of what to come.
Since his first DJ gig on a West London pirate radio station in the mid 90’s, Asad Rizvi has played in clubs across five continents, including Fabric and The End (London), Pacha (Buenos Aires), Stereo (Montreal), Folies Pigales (Paris), Roxy & Mecca (Prague) and Crystal (Istanbul). His signature sound – underground house with a quirky twist – is evident in this mix, recorded live at Fabric London recently.
As the main forces behind the influential London label Ghost Recordings, El-B and J Da Flex have shaped the modern dubstep sound. In celebration of their room three takeover at London super-club Fabric’s FABRICLIVE on April 16th, El-B and J Da Flex have laid down this promo mix to get you hyped for the occasion.
Big UK garage basslines, omnious drum’n'bass vibes, proper standard. For more mixes from Fabric, go here!
On Friday March 19th Leeds based label Hessle Audio, known for crossover productions favoured by dubstep and techno DJ:s alike, host room three at FabricLive in London. This promo mix for Fabric by DJ duo Bruk showcases the typical Hessle sound – a dark, stripped-down, technoid rhythm clash. Blimey!
