Are you going to Miami for the up-and-coming Music Week? We are!
Our good friend Jillionaire is throwing a super nice daytime/early evening party with a slew of great DJs. How about Sheffield’s finest Toddla T, Sound Pellegrino label DJs, Swede party people Savage Skulls, the awesome Jess Jubilee… surprise guests.. Chicken, beer. Free party!
We just updated the indie section!
Here’s a mix with some of the critically acclaimed songs of 2010. Mixed by Extra allt, this mix is crowded by Delorean, Kanye West, Oskar Linnros and more. Put your dancing shoes on and turn the volume up!
As we continue to offer up up the rather excellent Caribbean themed mix streams for Malibu Rum (go listen!), there’s more DJ:ing fun to be had. While Major Lazer might be featured with their own super music mix on the Malibu pages, mixing their music yourself might be even more fun! The iPhone app makes this a breeze, as Major Lazer’s anthematic ragga-house comes preconfigured in tempo with a slew of great tunes, like Douster, Johan-Hugo, Savage Skulls and a bunch more artists which will have sunshine beaming from your speakers! Add in the effects, and you have a full package
Download the free DJ Music Mixer by Malibu iPhone app right now! Essential not only if you like to party/enjoy sipping Malibu. If you have just a remote interest in how the concept and DJ:ing tech is changing, this is definitely worth a look. Go on, don’t be shy.
Mixed by Sebastain Geels, our good friends at Pope Records have something special for you. Their mix for Nike Sportswear Sweden is a showcase of some of the locally (Sweden) grown talent which is just beginning to take off (Rebecca & Fiona, Savage Skulls), and those are pretty much airborne already (Style of Eye, Adam Tensta). For a label to hold all this dance music talent is pretty extraordinary. Then consider the fact that most of these acts are from Sweden! Get to know what all the cool kids listen to getting dumb on the weekend.
On the Let's mix blog you'll find updates on our service, interviews with people who use it and, occasionally, rants from our beloved staff. It's an open forum, so feel free to comment and share your thoughts with us.
