Let's Mix

We’re thrilled to announce the Premium membership launch at Let’s Mix today. Those little golden hifi icons by the mix players which have begun sprucing up the front page indicate the higher bit rate for Premium mix streams. The premium membership also lets you promote your mixes, and listen to any Let’s Mix content, from your iPhone. You can run the free version as well for demo purposes, or to listen to Premium member mixes using their promo code. There are also Premium DJ competitions, not open to public, but packed with great prizes. Right now there’s a $7,500 DJ Mag print and online campaign at stake, which one lucky Premium member gets away with, in the current Premium member competitions (deadlines for submission August 31st).

Those of you who have uploaded a mix on Let’s mix recently, might have already noticed, but for everyone else: We’ve launched a great little new feature – mix transfer!

If you want to publish a mix on Let’s mix which you have already uploaded on another platform, simply copy the URL to the mix, log in, go to the upload section and paste the URL into the “File URL” box. The mix will transfer to Let’s mix, and meanwhile you can fill in details and tracklist. Done!

Please note that the mix file needs to be in mp3 format and downloadable/not password protected on the platform you wish to transfer the mix from.

The Let’s mix player can now be embedded in your Facebook log. Simply click the Facebook link in the Share section for the mix you want to embed, and then log into your Facebook account. The Let’s mix player will automatically embed in your Facebook log.

Also, did you know that there are hot keys in the Let’s mix player? To pause/play while listening to a mix, press CTRL + ALT + Space. To skip back and forth in the mix with 1 minute intervals, use CTRL + ALT + left/right.
