Delicious and moody electro pop, driven by Linn Drum, and haunting vocals. Connects the dots between past and present, without really getting overly nostalgic. We were hit a little off guard by going head first into music this deep first thing on a Monday morning, and in a good way. Really merits a listen.
Highly likeable hip hop and r&b magic from DJ Mismatch of Birmingham’s Bliss club. With the added dancehall essentials this has to have the house moving.
In today’s edition of Mix of the day, we ask ourselves – can you go this slow? It’s funny because in some way we don’t care about the artefacts introduced in this slo’mo mixing madness. It’s interesting enough, and makes for a brand new and mesmerising listening experience! Experimental DJ:ing in an easy to enjoy format.
We came across this stunning set of house music from some months back. It’s interesting hearing this type of house music getting spins for numerous reasons. For one, it sort of points at a different direction other than the grandeur of fireworks and festivals. Groovy yet deep and heavy, we can see this sound is coming on in a big way. You know you feel it too!
